Effect of Red Pepper (Capsicum frutescens) Powder or Red Pepper Pigment on the Performance and Egg Yolk Color of Laying Hens
  • Results suggest red pepper powder and pigment are effective feed additives for improving egg yolk color for laying hens.
Effects of dietary red pepper on egg yolk colour and histological intestinal morphology in laying hens 
  • Results found hypertrophied (enlarged/excessive) intestinal villi and epithelial cell function. Egg yolk color increased.
